Welcome to kara walsh photography

We live in a world that is fast paced & crazy. My goal is to slow it down a little and capture those special moments, whether it being your little ones first steps or your walk down the aisle. My hope is that the pictures I take, will be some of your most special family keepsakes today & for years to come. I have been fortunate to have the most amazing clients & I have loved being able to see families grow over the years.

I didn't grow up dreaming of being a photographer, but ever since my first Kodak Disc camera which I got in the 6th grade, I have loved taking  pictures. It wasn't until my own wedding that I realize what a true passion that I had for photography. With encouragement from our wedding photographer, I took classes with New England School of Photography & New York Institute of Photography and I began shadowing other photographers. It wasn't long before I started taking family portraits & shooting weddings on my own. I truly love capturing the detail in special events  or just day to day moments that bring joy to peoples lives.

I live in America's hometown, with my best friend/husband & my two beautiful spunky daughters who are my world!!! I love the beach & when I'm not taking pictures, I'm a Household CEO & Irish Step Dance Mom, and in the warmer months you will find me with my toes in the sand taking in the sunshine!
